Snobiller called n wanted to do a little goose hunting while he and his friends were in the area duck hunting. So we set out sunday morning on a goose hunt. We hit the field early to set out the goose decoys. When my little brother got there he ran a flock out of the field. That was at 5:30 am! We were set up by 6:30 so we had time to stand around and shoot the bull! We took the trucks n trailers out of the field at 7:30 and went back to the layouts. Just after 8:00 the first flock set in, there was about 30 birds in it and we managed to drop 5! Then it hit, the flocks just started comin and comin and comin! Geese everywhere! After about 45 minutes of shooting geese we decided we better get a count on what we had in the decoys. We had 27 birds! We needed one more goose. We let the guests take the last goose. Chris and Ben hammered a single as he set into the deeks! In just under an hour we shot a 7 man limit of 28 birds! This was Chad, Ben and Chris's first time hunting geese out of layouts and a field. I think they are hooked on goose hunting now!! Here are a few pictures of sundays hunt.
