Anybody crow hunt?

Postby Renegade Lanyards on Fri Mar 28, 2008 3:19 pm

Few of my friends and I have been crow hunting all march here in MN for the march season and it has been a blast! We haven't shot a ton but the fun and laughter never stops! As the season comes to an end we are now looking for gobblers but it was fun!

The secret to our last hunt! Put this deer decoy out to look as if dead and the crows were feeding on it! Worked pretty good!

Crow hunting is fun as hell! great to see a few kids putting the hurt on them. Your saving pheasants, upland game, and waterfowl nest from being raided. Good job!

OK isn't crow open year round?

also thanks WaterfowlWidowmaker for posting that. I honestly didn't know that crows were that bad, I thought they just ate road kill and dead whistle pigs after we shoot them.
now they are done if I come across them.

there are seasons for them around here but they are only closed like 1 month or something like that but if you shot one out of season I don't think many people would say anything but it is still out of season though.

Not everyone can be as smart as you Captain Chris! I'm sure team renegade is aware of the damage they do, I was simply making light for conversation they are nest raiders! More folks should shoot them, and they should make raven killing legal to while they are at it.
