Your Silos will do the trick for ya I am sure.
We have made hundreds over the years. Mostly Black and Whites for Fill when we were decoy poor . Sure do make that black spot on the ground bigger for not a lot of Bucks..
I assume your using cloroplast . great stuff and very afforadable . sometime free if you watch.
We do the snows out of the White and try to do dark geese out of the Black.. helps keep the wear spots from looking bad by seasons end.
Couple of suggestions :
Prep time is well spent. Scotch Brite the forms and prime them with something like Kilz . that stuff has teeth and will make them hold paint something fierce.
Leave it thick and roll it on with a heavy napped roller. It leaves a great texture on the surface and helps with reflected light.
Think about flocking the Heads ,Tails and wingtips.. I know silos aren't about details, but it is well worth the time and effort to do them. The last batch we made came out great ..flat as could be( no shine) and just for grins we did 10-12 with flocking that we had around from other projects .
When we set them out, it took one day looking at them to make a plan to get the rest of them pulled and redone as soon as the weather would allow.
Try to orient the cutout so the cloroplast coragations run verticly thru the body of the silo. 3/16 rod makes great stakes ,can be glued in and allows them to Move in the slightest breeze.
I could go on but I would need Beerz and a boat to lean on.
Good luck and congrats on some fine decoys.

Trying to decide. Am I still learning or relearning what I already forgot?
